Lent 2025

We begin our celebration with a fun annual tradition. The LMM Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper! 

We hold Ash Wednesday services at Noon and 6 pm. Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion are offered to all who wish to partake.

We also participate in Midweek Worship for the remainder of Lent. Each week after Bible Study, we have a soup luncheon at 11:30 am followed by Noon Worship. The Dutch Fork Cluster of Lutheran Churches holds a rotating service on Wednesday evenings with a meal at 6 pm followed by worship at 7 pm. Please see the sidebar schedule.

Saint Michael Lutheran Church and the other Dutch Fork Community Lutheran Churches hold a combined service each Wednesday evening during Lent. Each week a different host church offers a meal at 6 pm with worship at 7 pm. The pastors also rotate for the message each week. This gives the community a chance to hear different pastors preach and to visit our sister congregations. All are welcome for the meal, fellowship and worship. See sidebar for schedule.

 Holy Communion is offered to all who believe in Jesus Christ, who confess their sins, and seek forgiveness. For those who are able, an usher instructs the congregation when to come forward using the center aisle; please return to your pew using the side aisles. Wine, juice (white), and gluten-free wafers are available. Please alert an usher if you require assistance so communion can be brought to you.
