Guests are always welcome! Beer & Hymns, 1st Tuesday, 4:30-7 pm @ Craft & Draft-Irmo
Boasting an 1865 Hook Pipe Organ, a dedicated choir and several outstanding musicians, we have amazing talent at our disposal. If you are inclined, Pastor Frank or Cantor Karen would love to talk with you about sharing your talents!
Meet us at Craft & Draft (Irmo) on the 1st Tuesday for Beer & Hymns. We sing, socialize and sample some great food, craft beer and wine. All are welcome and singing is not required. Our band and song leaders are pretty talented. Saint Michael loves to be involved in unique and unexpected ways in the Dutch Fork communities. One of the many ways we help to share God's love.
We like to have fun outside of church, too! We plan several events each year, from dinners "out" to local baseball games and flotillas to see the purple martins on Lake Murray. It's important to just enjoy each other's company.
From our resident community theatre company to events like Beer & Hymns, Saint Michael gets involved in unique and unexpected ways in the Dutch Fork communities. Watch for the many ways we help to share God's love.
Part of the Lutheran Men in Mission (LMM), our fearless friends enjoy a monthly dinner meeting to plan service projects and to share fellowship. Many technology upgrades at Saint Michael are courtesy of these great guys.
The Ladies of Saint Michael sponsor several meals each year, coordinate outreach activities like school supply and food drives, sew prayer shawls for Lutheran Hospice, and make Christmas Stockings for the December newborns at Park Ridge Hospital (shown above). They are busy bees!
Our congregation boasts a pretty active group of "mature" folks! We also keep an eye on our homebound members who are less mobile due to life circumstances and health concerns.
Our Youth Group has been very active throughout the years. Currently, we do not have enough in this age bracket willing to get together but are hopeful of reigniting activities in the near future.
